Ways to prevent cancer

1. Use the right kind of sugar

Cancer cells need sugar to arise, grow and spread. Too much sugar damages the cells and makes it easier for cancer to develop. Carbohydrate diet releases glucose that helps cancer cells to become resistant to chemotherapy and radiation therapy. By choosing healthier sugars, the cancer cells are inhibited, which can even die under favorable conditions.

To think of:
• Reduce carbohydrate intake and reduce bread, pasta, potatoes, cakes, sweets and sweet drinks containing high amounts of starch and glucose.
• Try to avoid sugar that causes blood sugar to rise quickly, ie glucose (glucose), malt sugar, lactose (milk sugar) and sucrose.

Please choose:
• Sugars that have limited or no effect on blood sugar levels, such as fructose (fructose), galactose, isomaltulose and inulin (found in earth and artichoke, black rot and palster nuts).
• Glucose and low-fat bread and pasta, without gluten but with high protein content.

2. Choose healthy fats and oils

Fat secures the absorption of important anticancer substances from nature. Number 1 is vitamin E gamma ketotrienol (found in red palm oil and riskli) that inhibits cancer cells, kills them or makes them susceptible to cellular and radiation treatment while protecting healthy cells against radiation damage. But even other vitamin E vitamins, vitamins A, D and vitamin K can reduce risks. And omega-3 fatty acids protect by shrinking the oxygen and energy supply to the tumors.

To think of:
• Obesity and abdominal fat are a major risk factor for multiple diseases, including multiple forms of cancer.
• Try to avoid excess omega-6 fatty acids, except for anti-inflammatory gammaolenic acid.

Instead, choose:
• Flaxseeds, rapeseed oil and feta fish like salmon and mackerel, rich in omega-3 fatty acid.
• Green and Brussels sprouts, broccoli and legumes.

3. Eat enough protein

Protein is an important building block for the body. Most importantly, the eight essential amino acids we receive via diet and the body need to fight cancer cells. The amino acid-like substance L-carnitine also helps to make cancer cells susceptible to treatment.

The vital amino acids are found in:
• Fish and meat, game or organic.
• Eggs.
• Milk, milk products and lactic acid products.
• Chickpeas, soy, hemp seeds and nuts

4. Eat plenty of substances from the plant kingdom

From nature, we can get help from various micro nutrients, such as secondary plant substances that can both inhibit the appearance of malignant cancer cells and destroy them when the disease has broken out. Please choose ripe and local products because the substances are not good at storing. Rinse more than scale as much nutrition is in or directly below the skin. Råkost is often the best variant to get the healthy substances, except tomato that must be heated to accommodate the useful lycopene.

Strong food:
Leaf vegetables, all sorts of cabbage, tomato, broccoli, spinach, onion and garlic, older sorts of apples, citrus fruits, currants, raspberries, plums, herbs, pistachio nuts, walnuts, dark chocolate, red wine and green tea.

5. Make sure you get plenty of sunlight

The sun helps the body to form vitamin D, the anticancer vitamin, which in several studies has been shown to provide effective protection against breast cancer. High levels of vitamin also halved the risk of both breast and intestinal cancer. The sunlight also boosts the production of serotonin, our good hormone is important when we get sick. Stay out half an hour 3-4 times a week so that at least your face and arms get to know the useful sunbeams. During the dark half, we may need extra vitamin D supplementation, the food processing company recommends 7.5-10 micrograms / day.

Good vitamin D sources:
Salmon, herring, sardines, tuna, lean milk products that are vitamin D rich, margarine, mushrooms, veal liver and eggs.

6. Touch regularly

The lack of exercise is linked with several different cancers. At the same time, studies show that regular exercise can both prevent and facilitate healing in the same way as drugs. Next to quitting smoking, physical activity, at least 30 minutes / day at least five days a week, is the most important factor in reducing the risk of colon cancer, up to 40-50%.

Positive effects of exercise:
• The hormone system stabilizes when it is in imbalance accelerates cancer cell growth.
• Working muscles lower the insulin level while strengthening the immune system.
• Substance metabolism increases and speeds up fat consumption, which reduces the production of hormones and signal substances that can cause cancer cells to grow.

7. Cure the mental balance

A strong psyche means a strong immune system – and vice versa. Mental imbalance facilitates disease in the body, including cancer.

How to improve your quality of life:
• Listen to your inner voice and do what you feel best.
• Take care of your environment when you feel bad, together you become stronger.
• Find professional help, trained therapists can help you find the right way again.
• Reduce stress, take away breaks and take relaxing walks.

8. Enjoy a good night’s sleep

During sleep, the body recovers, the hormone balance is strengthened as well as our resistance to cancer. Sleep is also an important repair phase for the sick person. Do you eat extra protein rich food in the evening, you strengthen the effect.

Then you sleep well
• Do not eat later than 2-3 hours before going to bed. Food with a lot of sugar and starch prevents secretion of sleep hormone melatonin and degrades sleep.
• Rogivande tea or hot milk can speed up sleep.
• Be active during the day, but wake up the hour before you go to bed.
• If your mind is full of thoughts, it can help you write down for more peace.
• Have a bad night’s sleep? Treat yourself to a nap during the day, but not more than 30 minutes.

The food that protects against cancer

Even though there is food that increases the risk of cancer, there is food that prevents the disease. Here are 16 examples of foods with protective effect.

According to the Cancer Fund, every third person is ever affected by cancer in any form. However, studies show that foods like vegetables, berries and fruits can reduce the risk of cancer of cancer while red meat may increase the risk.
“It is on the most common forms of cancer, there are the most studies that show a connection that different vegetables can have a protective effect,” says Lars Beckman, senior physician at Virginia Hospital.
Together with colleague Joe McCarthy and Adam Gregson, he has written the book “Food-free – cancer-preventing food”.
He believes that fruits and vegetables can protect against other cancers like breast cancer, intestinal cancer and prostate cancer, and in the book it is recommended to eat more blueberries, broccoli, chili peppers, lemon, garlic and raspberries to minimize the risks.

Our choices are important

According to an analysis, recently published in the British Journal of the National Cancer Institute and which Kurera reported earlier, fruit and vegetables reduce the risk of severe breast cancer.
“It’s never too late to start exercising, but the earlier you build your everyday life in your life, the better,” says Elizabeth Bergsten Nordström, chairman of the Breast Cancer Association’s National Organization. Who says she tries to live healthy by choosing vegetables instead of French fries and taking the stairs instead of the elevator.
Something she’s doing right in. For our living habits, and not least our dietary choices, have a big impact on whether we will fall into the dreaded disease or not.
